Artists can get started within minutes, to build a community that lasts for years. Smash is designed to be artist-first, they set the rules.
Fans give their support with a subscription. Artists keep 60% of the revenue - enough to build a sustainable career.
The Smash app is created in close collaboration with artists and their fans.
Built for the music community only.
Every artist community is unique. Each artist set their own rules. We encourage fans to help shape the communities by letting artists know what they want.
Smash is free for everyone. However, the artist can choose to lock some group chats. Fans pay a monthly subscription to access all groups. The artist can change the price.
The artist gets 60% of everything you pay on Smash. That is enough to build a sustainable career. Apple takes a tax and the rest goes to Smash to cover our expenses. It is expensive running an app you know.
We are still in our early days. In Sweden where we launched, most people have iPhones. As soon as we see some traction we will build an Android app. Using Smash on your laptop is something we consider also.
Since we have worked in the music industry we saw first hand how artists struggled with building fan bases. We love music and are all superfans, so we built Smash for ourselves.
Ask them to start using Smash, or send us an email to contact@smash.fan and we will reach out to your favorites and tell them they are wanted.
